If you want to get a good idea of how FootTrack can help you organize all your video tapes you've come to the right place. Let's start with the main window.. since that's where most of your time will be spent.
FootTrack is all about helping you catalog all your video tapes so you can find your video clips easily. Read on to find out how it's done.

The main areas:
Tape/Group Viewer - this shows all your cataloged video tapes along with all your groups - including logical groups within each tape, clip groups and smart groups (similar to smart playlists in iTunes)
Clip Viewer - each video clip is represented here by an image (that can be changed). Double click and you can watch either the original DV clip or a compressed preview version.
Keywords - assign them to your clips so you can organize your clips the way you want. Create your own keywords or use the built-in ones.
The toolbar at the top also provides access to the most commonly used commands such as searching, capturing, importing and displaying the inspector.
